Product Review: Avon Rare Amethystin Fragrance
Thank you for reading my very first product review!! Today I am reviewing Avon Rare Amethyst perfume 1.7 fl. oz. First, here is how the Avon website describes Rare Amethyst:
"Reveal the gem inside. Glistening. Gorgeous. Glamorous. Reveal the beauty in every luminous facet. This sensual jewel of passionate plum shimmers with mysterious violet and rich sandalwood. 1.7 fl. oz."
• Top Note: Wet Plum
• Middle Note: Blooming Violet
• Bottom note: Addictive Sandalwood
So is it glamorous? As with all my product testing, I don't just take other people's word for things. So I bought some Rare Amethyst to try it for myself. I have to say, it smelled better than I thought it would!
Yes, the mood of this perfume is glamorous, and sexy. It is thick, as opposed to watery, and it lasted six hours. I liked everything about this perfume, the color and shape of the bottle, the name; Amethyst is my birthstone, so I couldn't say no to something purple and Amethyst related. I have used, and loved, the other perfumes in the Rare line: Rare Pearls, and Rare Gold, and loved them. Rare Amethyst continues to high quality of that line. Great job Avon! Lest anyone thinks I'm biased, Avon doesn't always get it right--anyone remember Hawaiian White Ginger? No? Well, be thankful. That one was a miss. (Sorry Avon)
Bottom line, Rare Amethyst is a gem, pun intended, and a wonderful edition to the Rare line. At $23, it is a good deal too. Here is the link to purchase Rare Amethyst through my web store:
