Hot New Carbon Fiber Rings That Glowin Technology
There are not a lot of really attractive new tech-wearable devices, but I am super exited about hot new Carbon-Fi Rings. Carbon-Fi rings glow in the dark. That is the one thing I look forward to in the future is clothing that glows. Rings will do for now.
I love, love, love most things that glow and sparkle. I know that sounds ultra girly, but isn't that what's missing from technology, the girly input? I am a total FemBot. Not to worry because there are masculine rings and wrist-wear as well.
I had the opportunity to speak with the creator of these HOT new Carbon-Fi Rings, Tyler Wright, in Arizona. He is a tinkering genius that became an inventor and entrepreneur by accident. "I started Carbon Fi on accident to make a unique ring for myself that no one else had. It is a movement to create unique jewelry for people that are sick of the traditional forms of jewelry ", says Wright. I asked him a few questions about the rings in addition to, "Hey How Can I Get One? My color is purple."
I am a lover of innovation and Carbon-Fi is a fairly new spin on an extremely tough material. From Wright's perspective, "Carbon fiber is a brand new material respectively. It was invented in the 1960's and has only really been used since the 70's. It's extremely light weight and incredibly strong. It's lighter than any metal and stronger too, which is why it is used in Super cars, jets, planes, spaceships like SpaceX, high-end road bikes, and other things. It's growing in popularity as a construction and cosmetic material. In the jewelry world, it's virtually brand new and has only popped into any jewelry in the last 2-3 years (Carbon Fi making a significant dent in that)."
The rings are uniquely hand-crafted by Wright and his team, so at this point, each ring is customized. The cool thing is as his business grows, the rings made early on, will likely be more valuable because they will be originals and as the creation process becomes more automated, because of the increase of orders. "Part of our carbon fiber is that we invented a form of carbon fiber that glows in the dark that we named Aurora Carbon. Between the beautiful layers of carbon fiber fabric, we have layers of glow, which make it extremely unique and fun, " Tyler explains.
Because the rings are made from Carbon Fiber, they are very light weight, and you almost don't notice they are there. They weigh under an ounce. That is incredible but credible. I am thinking, Tyler, when will you make clothing? Tyler shattered his Tungsten wedding ring he was already toying with carbon fiber molds and just had the idea to re-craft his ring. This is why I love science and technology; it allows the real artist to come forward. After friends and family had placed an order, he left his job to do this full-time.
I heard that Carbon Fiber and Tungsten were being compared, and I asked Tyler how were they similar and different? He said that they were polar opposites, in his mind. While Tungsten scratches resistant, its boring and shatters. Carbon Fiber is unbelievably light and does not shatter or break. The best part is, it is made of one of the Earth's most naturally occurring elements. This makes it safer for people who may have any skin issue or allergy to metal. If you enjoy the freedom of movement on your hands, then Carbon-Fi is the way to go, he literally compared it to that comfort and style of a Lamborghini.
I am excited to see what happens with the Carbon-Fi, they are expanding out the product line form just rings into wrist bands and more. The are growing at a rate of 25%, and I have watched and in my opinion, this company is booming. I think the allure of high-quality glowing rings is just thrilling to buyers. I know it is thrilling to me.
