As we approach another Resurrection Sunday, I am overwhelmed with thoughts of the power of the resurrection. It is the triumphant culmination of the redemptive work that Jesus began at the cross. Many of us will dress our children in fine apparel and will enjoy a wonderful holiday with family and friends.

But, when this day is over, we will regress to stress and worry-filled lives. If we truly embrace the significance of the resurrection, we can enjoy the peace and liberty that it brings. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our deliverance at the cross. Then He gave us new life through His resurrection.

The problems that we worry about were solved at the cross.
Our broken hearts were mended at the cross.
Our bodies were healed at the cross.
Our minds found peace at the cross.
Our troubled spirit were comforted at the cross.

Now, we rise with Christ at the resurrection above any circumstance or situation. All we have to do is believe that because He lives, we have life; and that more abundantly. The resurrection does not end On Easter. It is only the beginning of a new life that began at the cross.
