This week I'm going to tell you about the different types of tea, such as herbal, white, green, and black tea. You have probably heard of those, but have you heard of oolong and pu-erh tea?

Tea is a very interesting beverage with many benefits, several uses, and an interesting history, even more interesting than that of coffee. Tea doesn't have a downside, the way that coffee does. There is so much interesting information about tea that I found out by researching that I decided it would be a good idea to split this article up into several parts.
The Health Benefits of Coffee
If you are a coffee drinker like me, I have good news for you—coffee is good for you. If you are not a coffee drinker—maybe you're a tea drinker instead—good, because tea is good for you as well. If you don't like either one, that's okay, I have other healthy beverages on the menu.
I love high heels! But, after a while, they get uncomfortable, and leave blisters on my feet. Is it possible to find high heels that look good, are comfortable on your feet, and won't kill your back? YES!! Read on......
"Domestic/dating violence is a pattern of controlling behaviors that one partner uses to get power over the other. Including: physical violence or threat of physical violence to get control, emotional or mental abuse and sexual abuse."
Domestic violence is still very much a problem in our society. I believe it is still under-reported; many women suffer in silence, for many reasons:
1. They do not know who to turn to for help; their abuser has likely isolated them from family and friends, in order to maintain control.
2. They don't think they can make it without him.
When you are ready to leave
Here is the hard part; what I'm going to tell you know may be the last thing you want to hear, but it is true:
Alice Walker-author of The Color Purple
According to an article on Women's Health.gov, “Of all minority groups, African-Americans have the most, and many times the largest, differences in health risks when compared to other minority groups.” Some of the reasons for this include lack of health care, mistrust, and health care given too late; by educating yourself on the most common health problems among African American women, you can empower yourself, learn what symptoms you need to be concerned about, and what questions you should ask your doctor.
In this post, I'm going to cover some of these health concerns.
Happy Martin Luther King Day! Many of you are familiar with Dr King, so while this post is a tribute to his legacy, I think I can best accomplish that by mentioning those who shared his dream, and some of those who came after, who may not have had the opportunities for success that they enjoyed, if it had not been for those who risked all to secure equal rights for minorities in this nation.

These are just my thoughts about relationships;, but from experience, it is sound advice, and I have seen these ideas work. This post is mainly for single ladies, because yours is the perspective I relate to the best, being a woman. But, single guys can apply these principles too.
If you are like me you know that too much sun is not your skin's friend. But, you may still love the way a tan looks--sunless tanning lotions are a safe alternative, and there are several goods ones on the market that won't turn your skin orange.
Before using a sunless tanner, you need to make sure your skin is clean, so you don't end up with a streaky tan. I recommend showering first (see my post about homemade soap) and then following up with a sugar scrub to exfoliate.
Homemade coconut oil soap
About a year ago, a friend of mine told me about making homemade soap from coconut oil and baking soda, and I have been making my own soap ever since. I love it because it contains all natural ingredients, and is very simple to make--just a matter of mixing those two ingredients together.
Exposed: The Truth about Gluten Intolerance
Do you have gluten intolerance? In this post I will show you some facts about gluten intolerance, and modern hybrid wheat, that may surprise you, ways to discover an unknown food allergy, and where to find gluten-free foods.
This diet is also known as the Mediterranean diet--a name that may be more familiar to you. I have been a fan of the Mediterranean diet for several years, but I recently learned it that it is helpful for lessening symptoms of arthritis. My mother-in-law suffers from arthritis, as did my grandmother. I’m writing this article for them, and for all the millions of other arthritis sufferers.
All natural skin care does not have to be difficult or expensive. I’m going to show you some items that you can find at reasonable prices, and at most grocery stores, that you can use at home. These products don’t contain any dyes, perfumes, or harsh chemicals. Some may be harsh on sensitive skin, but you can dilute them with water, and they will still be effective. Every step of your skincare routine; cleansing, toning, exfoliating, and moisturizing, can be all natural and chemical free.
Bicycling has been my preferred mode of transportation for years; there are several good things, and a few bad things about biking for exercise. The good things include the fact that a bicycle can go many places that a car can’t--bikers don’t usually get stuck in traffic jams.
