 I made this Thanksgiving 2013, I usually adjust the ingredients in all my recipes to make them my own, and so I may have been a little heavy handed on the brandy. None the less, it was still amazing. Let's get right to it. This recipe is the masterpiece of Tasha Smith's mother, who substituted eggnog for the cream when she ran out and it's became an instant hit.


•    ingredients 1 1/2 pounds Red Sweet Potatoes or Yams
instructions Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a pie dish with the pie dough and crimp edges. Place sweet potatoes in a stock pot and cover with water by at least 2 inches. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes or until very tender. Drain and allow to cool before handling. Peel and discard skins.
